The Blue Fern is a Hotel in Namchi which has amazing views to the Khangchendzonga Range but the peak itself is not visible from the rooms. It is strategically located at the entry of Namchi and, when built an operational, it will be one of the more important hotels of the town.
Most of the design and master plan was done before PPA became involved with the project. It was designed as separate blocks – each 7 storeys tall starting at different elevation 2 of which surround a courtyard. The design brief then was limited to the design of one hotel block and the having a consolidated look and feel to the project. The entire scope of the interior and finishing of the hotel became part of the scope of the brief.
